Singer/songwriter Yoji‘s newest single “Old Fashioned” takes us back in time with its lush nostalgic textures and heartfelt lyrics on true love in a relationship. Bolstered by the lively jazz/soul instrumentation made up of smooth alluring keys, soft percussions, and soothing horns to match, Yoji delivers a stunning sultry performance that displays her range. Birthed from her own experiences the track is her own romantic memoir of the early staging of dating her long-term partner and the title is also a play on words for the popular cocktail.

Yoji produced this song during her time as a Popular Music student at Goldsmiths University using vintage Motown recording techniques to record live instruments.

“Old Fashioned” is the lead single from her forthcoming third EP titled Retro Romance.
