Producer/rapper/songwriter WiseWords formally known as SavageChief is charting a new path with his unique approach to storytelling. Today he shares two songs “Break of Dawn” and “Eyes Wide” from his music stash.
“Break of Dawn” is the first cut and it’s built on a solemn piano riff and jazzy horns with soft sparsely arranged drums. WiseWords dives into the dynamics of love, heartbreak and the emotions that come with the pain. He takes listeners on an emotional journey with vivid rhyme schemes bolstered by an unfiltered flow and stylish storytelling that is both engaging and heartwarming.
“Eyes Wide” is the second song we have and it’s an insightful, introspective track that sees Wisewords in his element. Armed with his smooth flow and expressive songwriting he brings to the forefront a blend of stream-of-consciousness raps laced with some bravado lines like “Cataclysms and baptism, moving squares/the cubes and prisms welcome to the black box“.
