East L.A based emcee Viva Mescal takes us deep into his stomping grounds in the video for his city anthem titled “Peyote Cactus”. The rap vet who has been in the mix for a decade and then some details his experience in the city that made him who he is on the track. Backed by a lush backdrop courtesy of The Global Get Down, Mescal vividly describes the cityscapes and the inner workings of the individuals and networks that make the city run.

In the video, Mescal teams up with Drip Drizza who helps bring the song to life with a colorful rendition and fully captures several spots and characters from the city. We get to see Mescal in his element as he performs and also chops it up with his EOTR Network.
