Vice Souletric‘s debut EP Vice for President is a seven track project that goes beyond just the music to carry an underlying personal and political tone. While he’s not trying to beat us over the head with the same stories we’ve heard before, he also keeps it short and precise. Love how he deliberately kicks off with the audacious ‘Brag Rap’ which pretty much eases the listener for the more thought provoking material like ‘Treadmill Lifestyle’, Troublesome’ etc.

Practically I think the format he used works for several reasons: to enhance it’s longevity and to keep a consistency. Sometimes it’s better to stray away from long drawn methods and go straight to the crux of the matter. No fillers, just some gems for us to grown on.

Hit the play button and go out to support the kid.

Armed with his animated production skills and sharp pen game, Vice Soulectric is pleased to present his debut EP, Vice for President. The Ohio based phenom crafted this project to not only showcase his skills as both emcee, and producer, but to contribute towards Ohio’s undermined legacy as a bastion for Hip-Hop culture. Based on a platform of the need for both political reform and personal growth, Vice keeps his sites targeted on the very establishments that have proven to be our greatest obstacles. Vice for President includes guest features from his longtime collaborator G. Huff, in additional to Guilty Simpson, and REKS, and is now available for both stream and download, courtesy of United Grind.
