The Roots front man, ?uestlove, gave Blue Ivy Carter (Jay-Z and Beyonce’s kid) an iPod filled with 4,000 songs. Originally, the iPod was going to have 12,000 songs but ?uestlove didn’t quite get there.
“I put like 4,000 songs on it,” the drummer/DJ/producer said, “Ironically, I only got to the letter J.”
However, that now leaves options for future gifts.
“We have a system now where I’ll re-up it once a year, every Christmas,” said Quest.
Honestly, I could give a shit about Jay-Z and Beyonce’s kid but that’s a phenomenal present and, according to ?uest, Hov agrees.
“Jay loves it,” The Roots bandleader added.
