Toronto, Canada-based Egypt-born rapper/songwriter Trak caught our ears with his new release “Tales.” The story-driven piece is ripe with engaging lines that dig deep into Trak’s mind and experiences as he struggles through the never-ending drama that life throws at him. Backed by the brooding and doleful aesthetic, Trak pulls audiences with his vivid songwriting and lines like
“You want my pain well homie you can have it
I’m static every time I move I feed the anguish
Wasting time wishing for magic
Voila turned piss into golden antics”
help punctuate his raw emotions and thoughtfulness.
Trak is originally from Egypt, born and raised in Qatar and Japan
