East London emcee Torcha makes his debut on TWIB with the visuals for his reflective track titled “Take The Pain Away.” Over a smooth and somewhat gloomy backdrop, he details how he stays positive amidst all the challenges and struggles he has to face. He really taps into his own experience dealing with depression and displays a tremendous amount of tenacity as he implores the listener not to give up because there is always a light at the end of the tunnel.
He is currently working on his new EP Demon Wars scheduled for release sometime in June.
His debut EP ‘Patiently Waiting’, was released in 2018 and was a brilliant introduction to a talented rapper. He released 3 music videos to help promote the EP, which were also featured on Link Up TV, GRM daily & JDZ Media. He has also been supported by Pulse88 Radio having featured on one of their shows in the fall of 2018. He has performed at various venues and locations such as Walthamstow Town Hall, East Ham Town Hall, White City/Stratford Westfield, Shoreditch, Camden Rock and more.
