Gainesville, FL. raised producer. 33kstar makes his debut on our list with this retro electro-infused beat titled “Nova.” The drums used have the standard trap bounce but the texture is reminiscent of horror sci-fi flicks and have a nice cinematic feel to them. Rural Resonance returns to our list with this somewhat dark and uplifting beat made up of soft synths, ethereal pads, and smooth drums to complete the job This song was inspired by the idea of the EP of being comfortable in uncomfortable situations or becoming comfortable with what is ahead of you. Producer 2Timothy (fka Alpyne) sets it off dramatically with “Grind Mode.” A dark hard-hitting beat that. makes use of haunting synths, rumbling drums with a spaced-out arrangement.

Sydney-based, Manila-born producer Glasstempo takes us deep into the sunset on his new release titled “Lagoon.” The beat is very calming and sure makes one want to reflect on a handful of things while relaxing.

IO/ONE – “L’odore de pecore”

IO/ONE delivers a dark eclectic composition titled “L’odore de pecore.” The beat sounds like something out of a horror flick with its dark piano chords, haunting choral vocals, and cinematic textures.

defbymisadventure – “trouble”

defbymisadventure‘s newest effort is titled “trouble” and starts off with a smooth piano riff that switches into a mix of sounds that range from weird sounds that overpower the keys. It’s quite ominous but pretty engaging

 

 

 

D. – “Well Brood”

D.’s “Well Brood” is as dark as the bottom of the ocean. The producer goes for a cinematic, ominous vibe with haunting strings/pads, a weird rumbling synth, and clean drums to complete the job.
D. made his solo debut in June of 2020 with “Wasn’t that Great” a 10-track LP.

Softdrop – “Forever Day”

KOLA – “Holy Bap”

 

KOLA ‘s “Holy Bap” is solid tribute to Dilla and an excellent showcase of the producer’s skills. He chops up vocals from a requiem mass and layers them with soft basslines, head nodding drums and then some. The result is solid from start to finish. KOLA is a Canadian music producer born in Montreal, Quebec.

 

Fergstramental – “Morning Yogurt”

REAPVR – “when i float weightless to the surface”

REAPVR turns down the energy on the moody beat he calls “when i float weightless to the surface.” It’s an interesting mix of soft pads, smooth synths and drums to match.
