3League opens up this week’s list with “King Lewis”, a gritty and punchy track dedicated to his son. The sound design is quite rich and haunting while the drums are vibrant and give it a solid oomph.

 

 

 

Ogi feel the Beat, Chill Select! – “Different Approach”

Ogi feel the Beat teams up with the prestigious label Chill Select! for his new release titled “Different Approach”. The soundscape here is a blend of sombre and relaxing piano riffs, sublime pads and textures layered over somewhat rousing break beats.

The single is taken from Ogi feel the beat’s new album on Chill Select.

 

 

Pete Mac – “Bushwick”

 

Pete Mac goes back to the essence of hiphop with his new single “Bushwick”, which blends classic jazz samples made up of rich keys, woozy basslines and moody textures layered over smooth boombap drums and mellow vocal samples.

Zigg Zag – “Zeke the Plumber”

 

Zigg Zag is an American Hip-Hop music producer born and raised in Long Island, New York. He makes his entry on our list with his new release titled
“Zeke the Plumber”. The track starts off with a clip from the classic George Romero flick “Night of the living dead” and switches into a dark, haunting and brooding tune that comes straight out of a retro horror flick.

 

 

CamPackman – “STUCK”

CamPackman‘s latest effort “STUCK” is a fusion of sounds that range from classical, downtempo to trippy. The drums are thick, basslines are distorted and the use of seamless transitions and layered textures really make it engaging.

 

frogesque – “back 2 school”

Emerging producer frogesque makes his way “back 2 school” in his new song. The track is mellow, sombre and reflective. He makes use of soft drums, a repeating guitar loop, airy vocal hums and moody strings to boot.

 

 

HENRY ABERSON – “Vibe A” (feat. Corey Mauser, Rob Manzoli & Bill Ware)

Producer HENRY ABERSON brings a handful of musician friends to jam with him in his new release titled “Vibe A”. The record sees him working with Corey Mauser, Rob Manzoli and Bill Ware for a funky soulful session ripe with lush keys, nostalgic textures filled with punchy drum grooves, slick xylophones, rich guitar riffs and a progressive build-up to match.

 

 

SePH-01 – “Falling Out”

Producer SePH-01 help close out this week’s list with “Falling Out”, a hard-hitting cinematic trap beat that hits the mark. The drums are thick and the moody textures sure exude a distinct urgency within them.
