Veteran NYC lyricist El Gant is preparing to drop his new solo LP, O.S.L.O., but in the interim, he gifts us with the DJ Premier-produced album single, “Leave It Alone.”. This joint is a no-brainer as Preem crafts a heavy hitter of a beat and delivers his characteristic haunting textures and thick boom-bap drum grooves with his distinct vocal scratches to boot.  El Gant surely understood the assignment and serves the microphone with some of his illest bars coupled with his commanding vocal tone to complete the mission.

“Leave It Alone” is available now through all major DSPs and can be purchased for instant-grat off the rappers’ O.S.L.O. LP due out next Friday, Oct 07 via Rule By Secrecy. The ten-track album boasts guest appearances by Ras Kass, Killah Priest, Planet Asia, King Magnetic and more, and includes production supplied by Marco Polo and J57, in addition to Preem, among others.
