We are back for another exciting edition of the Top 5 submissions of the week. As we always do, you never know what you would find on the list as we do the dirty job going through piles of submissions from across the globe. Deephead – Drugs 2

Deephead is a new group coming out of Montreal featuring the talents of producer Skin Deep (Smoke Dza, Juju of the Beatnuts) and rapper/producers Freddie de Andrade and Jay Lindsay of cannonhead. MFG II is the title of their forthcoming album. Drugs 2 is the name of the jam that sets all that shit off. Built off a sample of Lil’ Kim’s “Drugs” and anchored by a solo performance from Freddie de Andrade, Drugs 2 was the spark that inspired the upcoming LP.
