Cheers to the weekend and as usual we got  a batch of bangers from the underground world for y’all to rock to. We even threw in a bonus beat for the culture. Hit the play button and get familiar with these producers.

 Stewie Grand – Forgive Me.

Stewie Grand comes through from the gate with a booming trap banger titled “Forgive Me”.  Stewie Grand is an up-and-coming artist and producer from Los Angeles California.

Sebastian Kamae – Dust.

Sebastian Kamae “Dust” is a mellow soul-drenched record that will get you nodding your head from the jump. The track is inspired by artists like Kiefer & Thundercat. It’s an instrumental lo-fi hip-hop track with jazzy and groovy vibes.

Mike Lightz – imissthehomies

Mike Lightz is a 22 year old sound designer from Virginia Beach, VA and one part of the Fayetteville, NC based hip hop and art collective, The Social Contract. ‘imissthehomies’ is an instrumental track about some of the post-college life loneliness; struggling and working long hours and never being able to see my closest friends because of it.”

Hz. – Alone Mind.

“Alone Mind” is a Chill Hop instrumental crafted by Hz. and a good friend of mine named Epifania.  Hz further explains the creative process behind the beat “This track started off as a couple 8 bar loops of the synth work and simple drums you hear. I knew the song could be more, so i sent it to my friend Epifania where he added the great atmospheric percussion elements and soothing Saxophone parts you hear throughout the song. Once this was added, the song was able to be crafted to the fine product you hear now.”

Pitchy&Scratchy – City of London

Pitchy & Scratchy pay homage to their hometown with the aptly titled record titled “City of London”.

BONUS BEAT

BLCKEBY – Cashmere

The track, that is part of an upcoming EP, is the result of this modern conception of electronic music made of different genres mixed together where some are dominant and some are less evident but still concrete in the mixture. The instrumental ensemble of the tune intersects surprisingly harmonious creating a smooth and gloomy atmosphere refined by a silky female vocal that conjures an imaginary lady wrapped and sheltered in a mantle made of the esteemed material that titles the track.
