It’s a tough job as we sift through a ton of high-quality tracks just to settle for just 5 so we switched it up so now we curating the Top 10 Submissions. Ev Thompson x Fortunato x Kurlz – “Red Tape”

Ev Thompson (Saskatoon) and Kurlz (Saskatoon) team up with Fortunato on their new collab titled “Red Tape.” Backed by an upbeat dark trap beat, the emcees deliver a wide eclectic style that strays from the expected. Alos on the track is Ev Thompson’s wife who provides the ethereal performance on the chorus.

 

 

 

Neguine Niktash x Max Evans x Lily Lyons – “Hands Speak”

 

Singer-songwriter Neguine Niktash makes her debut on our list with this soothing track titled “Hands Speak.” The track has a sultry, mellow vibe reminiscent of the R&B tracks of the 90s but still neck-deep with contemporary elements. Definitely perfect for a late-night reflective moment with a loved one and a glass of red wine to set the mood.

Sergee Gonzo – “Brighter”

Sergee Gonzo takes some time to reflect on his new track”Brighter.” Backed by a solemn, soothing backdrop, he delivers an emotion-filled performance that explores his flaws, hopes and dreams.
“Brighter” is taken from the “Weirdo” version of his new project which is titled “RADIO/WEIRDO”
Sergee Gonzo is a Hip Hop artist from South Texas that displays a variety of flows across a wide range of beats in his catalog. Sergee Gonzo recently finished his first multi-state tour this passed summer ’19 and recently released his new CD titled “Radio/Weirdo” on 11/23!

Trust The Child – “Asphalt”

 

 

Trust The Child gets his inspiration from a somewhat traumatic experience on his “Asphalt” track. The track has a broody feel and sees Trust The Child reflect on a memory from his time in catholic school. He saw a teenager getting beat up by 2 bigger kids who did a number on the kid. With that being said, the incident made Trust The Child ponder on the fact that life is short.
He adds that Being exposed to the fact of mortality early on can be a blessing because it puts a fire under you, assuming it doesn’t wipe you out first.

 

 

 

Otis Fonde – “Reverence”

 

Otis Fonde takes it back to the 80s on this tribute track titled “Reverence.” He employs the use of the classic 808 driven LL beat and delivers a smooth verse paying homage to that era.

 

 

 

Mad Signtist – “Extra”

 

Mad Signtist takes the listener on a self-searching journey on his track titled “Extra.” The self-produced track has a mellow, dreamy texture which allows Signtist to dive into his life from different aspects as he aims for self-growth.
Rapper/Producer, Michael Kelly, aka Mad Signtist, was born and raised in the Sixty Deuce (602), Phoenix, Arizona. He is the driving artistic force behind all of Laboratory Productions’ works.

Lucille Crew – “Moments”

 

Tel Aviv based genre fusion collective Lucille Crew drop the visuals for their previously released single “Moments.” Lead by producer Izzy (Isgav Dotan) and Drummer Yossi Adi, the collective delivers a smooth mix of Hip Hop, Funk, Soul and poignant lyrics to match. The visual was inspired by a fan who attended one of their earlier shows with his now late sister. The collective went back to the same venue to capture the energy and give the aforementioned fan another memory of his sister and their last dance. “Moments” is the first single from Lucille Crew’s upcoming album scheduled to be released in the winter of 2020

Mash Louis – “Full Time Job”

Mash Louis‘s “Full-Time Job” is the 5th entry in his “Mash Monday” music series. The track is an insight into the life of an artist who is trying to make music his full time job. He knows the journey is rough and tough but he has to do what he must to keep the lights on. The song is also the third from his ‘Shaking Hands With Who I Am’ project.

Kill Em All teams up with Daemon on the cinematic cut titled “Banksy.” Backed by MikeyBuzz KillKillian‘s dark broody production, he delivers a fiery performance and questions the motives of being an artist. Are we doing for the money or the love of the art itself? The visuals were shot by CALVIN TIGRE.

Burlington, Vermont based hip hop group GOOD WTHR (made up of Pro and Kin) team up with SKYSPLITTERINK on the hard-hitting jam titled “Reign or Shine.” Backed by a smooth texture and hard drums, they deliver solid verses about life, struggles and the work ethic needed to succeed.
