It’s a tough job as we sift through a ton of high-quality tracks just to settle for just 5 so we switched it up so now we curating the Top 10 Submissions. Felix New – “Music Is”

“Music Is” is a smooth soulful themed song by budding act Felix New who uses it as a form of therapy. Over a lush, ethereal soundscape the artists details how music saved them and how they can’t do without it.
Capital Ode – “Live Like Lakeside”

Budding emcee Capital Ode makes his way on our list with his new record “Live Like Lakeside”. The laid back song (produced by Drum Fu )sees the emcee detailing his story and all the people who gave him the necessary jewels to survive. He shares his story with a calm demeanor and uplifting tone about pushing against the obstacles life may throw at you. Along for the ride is Jersey artist, Max Blu, who contributes a solid verse. The title is inspired by a line by hip-hop legend Redman.
“Live Like Lakeside” is Capital Ode’s final single before dropping his album DONT COME HOME DEAD, on October 15th. Get it on all DSPs here.
Half Moon Science – “Lyrical Walk”
Hiphop collective Half Moon Science comprised of Noble Dru, Wendell Scott & Therapy Beats. Their new single “Lyrical Walk” is classic hip-hop in its purest form. Laced with a solid banging boombap beat and smooth flows, the record showcases the crew’s technical prowess when it comes to rap and also features D.J. Rob-Ski on vocals.

GNGR – “It’s Yours”
UK singer/songwriter GNGR pops up on our radar with this highly infectious track titled “It’s Yours”. The single was produced by David Spoils who crafts a very ethereal and dreamy backdrop for GNGR’s sultry vocals that is highly captivating and sultry. GNGR is in her element here as she vividly details the undeniable chemistry of intimacy and connection between 2 individuals. Get it on Soundcloud.
Devy Quills – “Igloo Fever”
Spoken word artist turn rapper Devy Quills makes his debut on the list with this heartfelt track titled “Igloo Fever”. The laid back cut details the aftermath of a relationship gone sour and how he is on to better things.
Devy Quills describes himself as a “dude from Winston-Salem who wants to help out through whatever creative avenues to make positive change and positive efforts to improve the state of his community.

Al Maari – “Nobädy”
Al Maari ‘s “Nobädy” is a heartfelt alternative record that explores the lack of humanity in general but more importantly in the way modern media presents its stories. In the age of sensationalism where love, mutual aid and positive action don’t really sell, “Nobädy” serves as a response and a way to exorcise and break this vicious circle by stating “I am not alone, we are no longer alone”.
Al Maari (Florent Maaratié) is the descendant of the great controversial poet “Abul’Ala Al Maari” – an Arab literary figure of the Middle Ages. Get it on all DSPs here
Toon – “Peer Pressure”
Toon is a South African hip-hop act whose new song “Peer Pressure” caught our ears. Over a vibrant, dark backdrop, Toon takes time to distance himself from the external voices that want to drown out his own. He adds that “Peer Pressure” was the very first song he recorded for his upcoming project My First Art Project.

DJ Unbreakable ft. Miss Bee – “Best of Luck”

“Best of Luck” is a solid collaboration between DJ Unbreakable and Miss Bee. Over a smooth, soulful backdrop by DJ Pain, the duo deliver a solid track that is heartwarming. Miss Bee who stands as the front lady of the duo is at home over the beat as she vividly details the struggles of urban life with so much clarity that the listener can feel it.
down4thecause – “The Vision”
Straight out of Brisbane comes down4thecause (f/k/a Profecy) who shares his new track “The Vision” with us. The track has a mellow, introspective vibe and details how hard work and steady grind can lead to positive results. down4thecause breaks down his ambition to succeed across the 2 verses which are tied up by the smooth melodious vocals on the chorus. “The Vision” is taken from his debut album The Fifth Vital Sign due at the end of the year.
C./FORTE – “A Little Head”
C./FORTE‘s “A Little Head” is a nice blend of hip-hop and soul. The mellow track details the artist’s frustrations, hopes and dreams. The Orlando, Florida duo really draws the listener in with their introspective lyrics and alluring melodies.”A Little Head” is taken from the duo’s upcoming debut LP, Grind Time Live.
The two met in college – Forte used to freestyle at parties to impress girls, while C. penned books full of Usher-esque songs never meant to see the light of day. When the two began to bond over their music, their hobby spiraled into a full-blown obsession, and C./FORTE was born.

Zurich, Switzerland based trio JAS CRW team up with rising Nigerian artist Dotman on their new record titled “Type Of Way”. The summer-tinged afrobeats jam is very catchy and will surely get the body rocking at the party. “Type Of Way” is the first track from JAS CRW’s forthcoming dancehall orientated EP, which will be released in January 2020. It was produced by Ketelby James (CH) in collaboration with Meek (DE)
