JHS – “Dream Of That Place”

 

JHS makes his mark on our list with this off-beat, experimental piece titled “Dream Of That Place”. The producer layers a myriad of elements on this track from angelic opera vocals, solemn strings and a pitched down Destiny’s Child vocal in a very unique manner. “Dream Of That Place” is taken from his upcoming album In Waves which is scheduled for release on the 3rd of January, 2020. JHS shuttles between NYC, Berlin, and Taipei as he works on several projects and also plays in bands such as No Diving.

 

 

Carson C Lee – “Cubanos”

 

Inspired by the beautiful country of Cuba, Carson C Lee crafts this brilliant beat entitled “Cubanos” with authentic Cuban instruments. The whole intention is to capture the culture in its most organic form. He blends an anthemic horn against, nostalgia-inducing textures and a solid drum groove to tie it all together. The music video captures the Malecon in Havana and the overall feel of the instrumental.

Jim Inner-G shares a soothing beat titled LEMONGINGER” for us to vibe to. The beat has a surreal and somewhat dreamy texture over sparse groovy drums. It is taken from his recently released beat playlist.

 

 

 

This Is Not a Loop – “Love Handles”

 

This Is Not a Loop is the musical project spearheaded by LA-based Beatmaker Yossi. Inspired by the LA lo-fi scene, Yossi started this project as an IG page focused on short looping animations accompanied by beats.
