Welcome to TWIB’s Weekly Top 10 Videos. This is a segment where we will be looking at some exceptional visuals from various acts from around the globe. The music video format has been around for decades and through the 90s and 2000s, it has taken flight from multi-million budget music videos, to mid to low-budget videos with exceptional features. In this section, we will not discriminate but rather highlight some of the creative visuals that pop up on our radar.
Again, we promise to bring you the best from high to low budget, to animated to DIY and first and foremost, the most creative visuals we can source.

Mickey O’Brien – “Gina” (feat. Fresh Kils, Sarah Craig & Annie Q)
Mickey O’Brien drops visuals for “Gina” featuring producer/DJ Fresh Kils, Sarah Craig and Annie Q. Over Fresh Kils’ cinematic backdrop, Mickey shares a heartfelt tale of love at first sight in the Big Apple and the realization that good things only last for so long and one has to make the best out of it. The visual follows Mickey during a trip to NY where he encountered Gina who blew his mind away and still knowing he had limited time, he decided to share it with her.
“Gina” is the second single from Mickey O’Brien’s Post Cards EP.
Emma Lee M.C. & Roccwell feat. Masta Ace – “Like It’s ’93”
Rising rapper Emma Lee M.C. and producer Roccwell team up with legendary emcee Masta Ace for this brilliant ode to hip-hop “Like It’s ’93“. Over Roccwell’s sublime and ethereal soundscape, Emma and Masta Ace share their experiences as lovers of the culture and take us through memory lane with engaging lyricism and story-telling. The visual is directed by Emma Lee M.C. and Mo Stafford and shot in different spots showing Emma in the lab going through the classic hip-hop records that raised her and we get to see Masta Ace in his element as well.
Rome Streetz & Daringer -“Starbxkz”
Prolific underground rapper Rome Streetz teams up with infamous Griselda producer Daringer for “Starbxkz”, the first track from the duo’s forthcoming collaborative Hatton Garden Holdup, which will be released on 10.4.24. The track’s soundscape is brooding, ominous and cinematic while Rome’s vivid lyricism cuts through the mix as he brings audiences closer to the gritty streets that raised him. The visual uses fast-paced cuts from different sources alongside performance clips of Rome Streetz.
Kurious – “Untainted”
Veteran NY rapper Kurious returns with “Untainted“, a new single that showcases purely unbridled lyricism and smooth vibes from the underrated OG over a sublime backdrop courtesy of Mono En Stereo. The visual directed by Angel Flores is straight to the point and captures Kurious’ chilled demeanour.
Prezence – “Psyop”
Genre-bending singer/songwriter/producer Prezence ‘s newest release “Psyop” delves into the social conditioning of the powers that be continue to impress on the masses. From the propaganda, distractions and misinformation spreading like wild fire, Prezence reminds us to beware and be aware before we lose ourselves. The visual uses news clips from across the globe and performance shots of the artist as well.
Estella Dawn – “514 Denim”
Hard-working singer/songwriter Estella Dawn captures the energy of summer love in “514 Denim”. The contemporary pop production is bright, bouncy and warm enough for Estella’s distinct vocal runs and sublime melodies that uplift the soul and remind us of the good memories during the warmest season of the year. The visual blends performance shots of Estella as she frolics on the beach, basking in the sun’s rays and living her best life.
iamB4 – “She Go Remix”
West Coast rapper iamB4 drops the visuals for his song “She Go Remix”. The bouncy track is all about good vibes, baddies and enjoying his time while it lasts. The visual captures iamB4’s love for a good time during the summer. From playful moments on the tennis courts to a standout cameo by popular LA dancer Storm DeBarge, the video is a delicious treat that perfectly matches the energy of the track.
