UK rapper NRB drops a new single “Candlelight & Silhouettes” as he prepares for his forthcoming EP.  The self-produced track comprises moody textures, ominous strings, and soothing vocal samples with punchy downtempo drum breaks underpinned by the rapper’s commanding voice and graphic lyricism. Lines like

“I broke the lock, your combination couldn’t contain me
life a motion picture, pen to paper, needle into fabric
clutching onto straws and watching chances getting handed
I’ve been there, I’ve been past it, and i lasted
band for band, the pressures got us snapping like elastic”

showcase his knack for engaging in rhyme schemes with a touch of reflection.

“Candlelight & Silhouettes” is taken from NRB’s upcoming debut EP: Property of Subject, which features regular collaborator Harry Wilkinson, as well as guest features from BatFunk, ELLV, Pique Roscoe and SAF-S2E.
