Founded in Cape town in 2004, Fly on the Wall is a film making collective probably best known for their 2009 multi-award winning documentary film on iconic South African rock band, Fokofpolisiekar. The African Cypher is their second full feature length documentary and tells the stories of South African street dancers.

The film was made in association with Red Bull Media House, is currently showing as part of the Encounters documentary festival and has also made the official selection for the Durban International Film Festival in July.
