Acclaimed London-based duo Temptress made up of Vlad and Jess made their official entry in 2016 with their style of R&B/alternative pop-infused music. From selling out and headlining events at The Pickle Factory, London, opening for Rejjie Snow and being invited to perform at Clara Amfo’s ‘About’ showcase the duo have been making their bones in the industry.
Their latest single “Cuppa Tea” is as sublime and gripping as they come. The record opens with a dreamy texture and airy vocal hums before the chorus comes in with Jess in the forefront. Over the dreamy and atmospheric soundscape made up of lush keys and guitar riffs with hushed drums, the duo delivers an ear grabbing performance ripe with layered melodic runs and heartfelt songwriting that explore sensuality and intimacy in a whole different manner.
