Stoney Hoop‘s new single “Native Tongue” is a moody reflective tune that sees the emcee reflecting on the state of the music industry as related to hip-hop.  From the ultra-violence portrayed on screen by young rappers and propagated by the major labels, Stoney fels these artists are just being used by the system to make sales and nothing else. Armed with his unique mellow flow, he touches on the delicate issue with a matter of factly approach and implores the listeners to think deeply about the issue at hand.

“Native Tongue” is definitely thought-provoking and insightful as well and makes for a great listen to analyze the state of affairs.
