Stoney Hoop takes us back to the beginning as he drops this new release “Homecoming” which details his background and then some. Over a somber, vocal sample he runs through his family roots, his own upbringing, and the different experiences that drive his spirit.
“Homecoming” is taken from his new full-length project Wise as the Old Owl.
After relocating to Brooklyn in 2020, Stoney Hoop took some time off to refocus his creative energy and grow as an artist. This culminated in the release of the Escapism LP, Hoop’s most successful release to date that spawned the eponymous “MF HOOP” single. Armed with fresh surroundings and a renewed fire, the future has never looked brighter for the emcee.
