As producer/composer Slowe (AKA Sophie Hawes) prepares to drop her debut album Where The Mind Wanders, she delivers her third single “Fix Me Up” which sees her teaming with her longtime friend Rachai. The result is a summer-breezy tune that explores blossoming love with someone who exudes the same energy as you. Over the lush guitar plucks, mellow drums and soulful pads crafted by Slowe, Rachai delivers a soul-stirring vocal performance ripe with sublime melodic runs and layered harmonies that exude an earworm and giddy feeling of finding true love.

Raised in the Welsh border town of Chepstow, Slowe has been writing music and performing in bands since her teens. During a gigging hiatus, she found herself gravitating towards self-sufficient production, turning her hand to an array of instruments – including flute, keys and guitar – to recreate the styles of her favourite producers utilising her musical talent, passion and creative understanding.
