Producer/composer Slowe (AKA Sophie Hawes) recruits The Sindecut & Ijeoma to revamp her song “WYLTK” which serves as the follow-up to her debut album. The Sindecut & Ijeoma who are pioneers of the UK hip-hop scene, recreate “WYLTK” by infusing it with an infectious bass-laden texture, rich guitar plucks and thick boom-bap beat to match the soothing melodic runs and gripping hooks. The overall vibe has a bright and uplifting feel that listeners can rock with.

The remix is part of a 4 track remix release featuring Rachai and Dutchie and the instrumentals of both remixes. ss-driven revamp to the sun-kissed “Fix Me Up feat. Rachai.” These remixes are based on the original tracks from Slowe’s album, “Where The Mind Wanders

The Sindecut, a trailblazing London collective, released their acclaimed album “Changing The Scenery” in 1990 on Virgin Records, which was later sampled by The Prodigy in their remix album of the classic “The Prodigy Experience.” The Sindecut were one of the first UK hip-hop groups to sign with a major label – fusing their sound with soul and reggae. Ijeoma began her songwriting journey as a child, using an old stereo for tape-to-tape recordings. Later on, she started performing at hip-hop and drum and bass nights on open mics, first in Newcastle and then in London. As a talented graphic designer, Ijeoma leads the creative direction for The Sindecut and Ijeoma.
