lofi / chillhop producer sftspkn is not new to our site and has been gifting us with some terrific soulful sounds and now he drops two gems from his stash for us to vibe to.

“smoke” is the first cut we have and it starts off with a warm, sombre piano loop that rises when the drum grooves come in. He uses some smooth horns as well to tie things up together and soft basslines. “smoke” is taken from his Gold-Fi compilation.

“Kintsugi” is the second record and as the same suggests, it is taken from the Japanese art of using gold to mend broken ornaments. The production is sublime and blissful from start to finish and makes use of melancholic strings, Japanese harps and atmospheric textures to boot.

“Kintsugi” is taken from his Ikigai instrumental compilation.
