Brooklyn, NY-based music producer Sam Rye shares his new release “Birdy” which is a sublime and atmospheric piece that seamlessly blends jazz, lofi and experimental aesthetics. The track is built on a classic sample which he layers with multiple instruments ranging from moody pads, strings and lush guitar plucks. The slow progression and build up also plays into the title and gives a feeling of elevation and some form of self upliftment if I may add.
