Meghalaya India-born rapper Daiaphi Lamare aka Reble started rapping about a decade ago under the moniker Daya. After modifying her sound and perspective, she changed her name to Reble after she released her debut single “Bad” in 2019 and she hasn’t looked back since. Her latest release “Opening Act” is a hard-hitting, no holds barred record that showcases her energetic flows and unapologetic lyrics that sees her breaking societal norms that aim to restrict women and her ultimate aim is to stay out of these social boxes and do what she came into this world to do. Over the cinematic and thumping backdrop provided by Tre Ess, Reble goes for the proverbial jugular with her no-nonsense flow and edgy lyrics like “Put the bluff on me, I’m a prodigy, I ain’t giving no fucks/Fuck a diss track, bitch I wouldn’t diss back if I got it from a pussy like you” that sees her throwing a middle finger to the opposition. The track serves as an introductory of some sort and it’s just a glimpse of the greatness that lies in the lady called Reble.
