Independent rapper Que K is a prolific songwriter and is always in the studio cooking new songs. This week, he drops off three new tracks from his stash. “Pearl Harbors,” “The Greatest Story Ever Told” and “Foreign” serve as stand-alone singles and are not attached to a project.
The first track “Pearl Harbors,” is bolstered by a dreamy and surreal soundscape and sees the rapper reflecting on his life and trials and tribulations. He looks at his past and reminds himself of the grace life has given him and he looks to do better with the time he has.
The second track “The Greatest Story Ever Told” is an aspirational track that sees Que K exploring the ups and downs of reaching one’s true potential. He acknowledges that every move is a risk but when it’s well-calculated, the return on investment is limitless.
The final track “Foreign” is a playful and bravado tune that shows the commercial side of Que K. Over a punchy trap soundscape, Que K flexes on the opposition and shows off his latest foreign vehicle acquisition.
