Chicago rap veteran Pugs Atomz and Australian producer Inkswel are working on their forthcoming collaborative album The Moon and in the meantime, they share their new single “4 am Burners”  with us. Over a dynamic, jazz-infused backdrop, Atomz and fellow emcee Wes Restless deliver some dope bars that thread the lines between off-kilter and innovative.

The production here is pretty off the richer scale and doesn’t feel stale as Inkswel chops up a vibrant cinematic piece that shapeshifts as it progresses.
