Ponder Rhythm (known as Robb Teneo) returns to the forefront with the visual of his song “Melatonin”, a song that deals with how people cope and function in this modern society which is society suspended in a state of cognitive drowsiness, torn between chemically-induced sleep and unrelenting reality. It’s pretty off-kilter, soothing and thought-provoking as well. Backed by a soulful, ethereal backdrop provided by producer Arithmetik, Rhythm doesn’t hold back his thoughts on how we move and live in a surreal society and all its laws and rules.
“Melatonin” was recorded in Atlanta and filmed in China. This collaboration came together in a one-take recording at Arithmetik’s studio, after Ponder Rhythm’s journey through San Diego and New Orleans.
Ponder Rhythm is originally from Atlanta. Currently, Ponder Rhythm resides in Shenzhen, China. His time is filled with recording music and playing shows in Asia. After nine-plus years performing underground, he has debuted his first official release, “If Pigs Could Fly” produced by Mr.Pia Classics. It is available on all major outlets and is accompanied by a vibrant visual filmed in ATL. As of 2019, Ponder Rhythm satisfies the interest of his listeners by dropping one or two singles a month; these songs are sure to keep your mind spinning and your head nodding.
