Prolific producer Phat Panda teams up with Quick.cp and SamWyze with DJ Nano2Hype on the wheels. The track has a throwback jazz-soul vibe complete with punchy drum grooves and engaging lyricism from the trio who pay homage to the greats who came before them. Lines like
“I learned that its best to be a voice and not an echo
Schooled in an era of hip hop that was blessed
Influenced by the Beasties and A Tribe Called Quest
It’s the music that I went to when I felt a little stressed”
set the pace and give audiences some thoughtful and nostalgic vibe that is much needed at this time.
