Emerging producer/rapper PAST/TENSE comes through the site with his 13 track body of work titled Turn The Lights On.

The project is a plethora of sounds and styles that capture PAST/TENSE’s mood and emotions. From the vocal sample-driven “Introduction” to the bravado performance eon “No Comparison,” he slowly sets the tone for the listeners with his storytelling and passionate flows. On the solemn “Back then” he shares his thoughts on the various facades he sees in the music industry while he stays focused on his grind. Tracks like ” In a Daze”  and “Too Late” have a reflective mood and sees him in a very introspective mode. He goes into story telling and gives us a short glimpse into his life.

The bulk of these songs have a personal touch and really dives into PAST/TENSE’s life from a different perspective. The beats are solid too and are mostly mid-tempo and laidback in style
