So Cal underground battle legend Seefor Yourself links with Okie Doke for his new release titled “Mike Jack Summer”. The track is a pure showcase of lyrical prowess by both emcees as they flip a wide array of rhyme schemes filled with insight and bravado. Okie leads the song in the first verse with lines like “Times 10, run it back, make sure there’s a gun attached, I be high on the moon like the symbol of Thundercats/Overall I stay strapped like the overalls of a lumberjack“. This is followed by Seefor Yourself with “I turn my circle to a dot because fake friends cost me a lot, we sit and discuss ideas and ride out of this world like cosmonauts, still reachable, intangibles still teachable, I seek the truth, don’t teach no fool“. Together these two lyrical titans sure give us something refreshing and engaging from start to finish.
