Rising New Orleans based jazz group NuSpeak caught our ears with their brand of energetic and dynamic compositions. Their new single “Main Squeeze” is a testament to what the 7 man group can do when they get in the pocket. Lush horns play a pivotal role in this one as the rumbling drums raise the ante but most importantly the way the track builds and descends is pretty amazing. NuSpeak is made up of Nabil Muquit (tenor saxophone), Eli Fribush (alto saxophone), Brian Maassen (trumpet), Michael Taddeo (guitar), Nolan Tecklenburg (piano), Jacob Hubbs (bass), and Karl Tietze (drums).
