After the split of his former band Kids These Days, 19-yr old Chicago native Nico Segal takes front seat of his musical career by dropping his second solo project, Donnie Trumpet.  The vocal-less musician who is currently on tour with Frank Ocean, uses his trumpet as his voice. During a recent interview, Segal described ‘how willing you are to wrap your head around concepts and how deeply you’re willing to listen’ to his style of music. The Donnie Trumpet tape celebrates the synergy between his instrumental jazz background and hiphop through collabs with the likes of Chance The Rapper, Vic Mensa & more.
