LA emcee Blu was too quick on the trigger this weekend, when he uploaded UCLA to bandcamp, a new album produced entirely by Madlib. According to Stones Throw, Madlib had nothing to do with this album. Coincidentally Soundcloud just asked us to remove our track released last November called “ez” from their servers. Blu has been know to release records to the public, ignoring mainstream distribution, whether the release was a tactical gesture or an unhappy accident is unknown. There is currently no word as to when the record will next be available.
