Such is the importance of this announcement, that I actually dropped the other post I was working on for WIB in order to get this one out there as soon as possible. Yesterday (Tuesday) the trailer for an upcoming documentary on a Tribe Called Quest was finally released. The actor Michael Rappaport – a.k.a the guy that plays the cop Phoebe dated in Friends, that’s probably a slight under-representation – is directing this one and it has to be said, it looks dope. Mike has spoken to all the right people and has gone about this in all the right ways, check it for yourself. My knowledge is limited because I became so excited that I pressed pause half way through the trailer just to come and tell you guys.
