Nao Yoshioka got something new for us in the form of this blissful and soulful tune titled “Free As A Bird” featuring instrumentalist Jarreau Vandal. The eclectic Japanese singer delivers a retro-tinged funk-soul track that captures the joyful moment of being in one’s true element and free from all types of constraint or pressure. The soundscape is lush, and punchy and evokes a blend of 80s R&B with a modern contemporary funk-pop vibe and Nao’s commanding melodic voice is the icing on the proverbial cake.
