Veteran Canadian emcee Moka Only delivers a solid joints for our listening pleasure as this week kicks off. The first cut is  “For Keeps” and is jazz-infused cut that showcases Moka’s smooth flows over a horn-driven backdrop that is both groovy and reflective. The track sure has a summer-tinged vibe and it’s something we can all rock to. Get it on Deezer.

The second joint titled “It Can Do” is the title track of his new album and is a smooth instrumental ripe with a neatly chopped soul sample, soft keys and a solid groove to match. Get it on Deezer.

Moka Only’s much anticipated follow up album titled It Can Do, is now available via URBNET. The instrumental aspect of the new release is a clear nod to the future of where the artist is heading to, suggesting that instrumental composition is at the very heart of Moka’s being. It Can Do offers musically fragmented repetition that conjures an airy, wide-open, freedom, not often heard in contemporary rap. Get it on Bandcamp.
