South African emcee MIRE steps into our sphere with two cuts “kill bill” and “kinda” from his stash.

The first cut “kill bill” is a laidback soulful piece that sees him reflecting on his life. From examining his flaws to acknowledging that he needs to take steps to correct them, he gives a nuanced and heartfelt take on the issue. The somber piano-laden backdrop is well crafted too and works perfectly for the topic.

The second song “kinda” has a punchy and upbeat soundscape made up of moody textures and thick drums. Again, we see MIRE revealing some aspects of his life and then some. His flow has a stream of consciousness style as well and the chorus is somewhat alluring.
