“Alligator Slippers” is the 3rd release off MeRCY’s Wednesday series The Everglades Sessions. On the track, MeRCY’s voice over the bouncy TEK.LUN-produced instrumental lifts us out of one of the series pimpish moments. The song go by addressing the challenges faced by his own community, being free spirited as well as pointing towards the ability to rise and have fun from the most desperate times. Something new and refreshing from Broward’s southern fried lyricist.
