Chicago raised Los Angeles based Meelz makes her debut on TWIB with her brand of experimental hip-hop. Her style is a blend of golden age hip-hop, ambient laced with some RnB elements.
The first track we have is titled “How Does She Do It?” and it’s self-produced. Meelz makes use of airy, ethereal sounds over soft drums while she delivers her verses with a laidback, somewhat monotone style. She doesn’t try to be what she is not on this one and follows the less-traveled path with her eclectic approach.

The second track titled “Good Morning, Good Night” has a dreamy vibe and texture and the percussions here are also toned down but the groove is still noticeable. Meelz once again delivers her unique style of rap with vivid lyrical imagery and subtle sultriness on the chorus.

Both tracks are taken from her debut EP Pick Up Stix. The project is produced, mixed, and mastered by Meelz.
