The soundscape here is a blend of soul, R&B, blues with a modern contemporary twist ripe with slick guitar riffs, warm keys, and soft grooves all underpinned by Mathilde’s forceful vocal runs and sublime melodies. Here she pours her all on wax and reflects on the ups and downs of love with lines like  “Oh oh man/You told me
/There’s more to understand/Because in the end one day/Goodbyes will explain“.
