Irish emcee Malaki taps into his fears and doubts on his new single “The Riddler’ ” which sees him dive into his personal experience with mental health issues. The track is upbeat and has a somewhat rousing feel that caters to Malaki’s impassioned flow and evocative lyrics. Malaki reflects on his darkest times and uses it to find strength to become a better person.

For the visuals, he teams up with director Hugh Mulligan who goes for a cinematic and expressive style that taps into the time of the song. It’s moody, fast-paced, and somewhat jarring alluding to Malaki’s mental state.

Malaki recently appeared on ‘The Late Late Show’ in Ireland to discuss the topic, which you can watch a short clip on Instagram – here.
