When L’Orange and Blu last tag teamed on this supreme effort, it felt like a dream team had been born. Blu’s dreamy, West Coast style perfectly suited L’Orange’s dusty production, so it’s dope to see the two reunited on ‘Need You’, because we certainly needed this. It’s the first single from the simultaneously announced L’Orange album The Orchid Days, a mostly instrumental affair but with the list of features including names like Homeboy Sandman and Jeremiah Jae (yes!!) – to go along with Blu, obviously – this is going to be a seriously heavyweight release. The Orchid Days will drop beginning of April on Mello Music Group.
