Rising Vancouver rapper Lazarous recounts his turbulent life in the new single “Champion.” The backdrop provided by Stvrk is somber, cinematic, and crunchy which fits the rapper’s impassioned flow and evocative lyricism. He also strays from the usual hook and makes use of short bridges to tie his verses together.
“Champion” is the lead single taken from Lazarous and Stvrk’s forthcoming EP titled Vita Nova.
