Teck-Zilla (part, of course, of the Word Is Bond fam) teams up with MCs King K.O.N.G and AVN for ‘All Kosher’. Teck’s production is off the chain for this one, as he gives a nod to the classic ‘Funky Drummer’ break, topped off with some soulful cuts. Meanwhile King K.O.N.G’s gruff, intimidating demeanour is contrasted nicely with AVN’s lighter vocals on the top. Dope!

One of the best aspects of Hip-Hop’s vibrant culture is its self referencing nature. We’ve all heard a myriad of the now famous drum samples which have formed the backbone for a new generation of artists, but the versatility of these breaks have made them last the test of time. Taking a cue from James Brown and the classic hit, “Funky Drummer,” “All Kosher” which was previously featured as an instrumental on Teck-Zilla’s soul themed beat tape, ‘Souled Off: A Dedication To Molly Molls,’ reunites the gruff sounding Long Island native King K.O.N.G. with the high pitched spitter AVN. The track is the follow-up leak to the duos previously released knockout, “The Bringer,” and while Kong drops knowledge on keeping it real when you’re with that special female, AVN satisfies listeners through his relentless bars and dizzying wordplay. Kick back and bump this one, and if you’ve been sleeping on King K.O.N.G. and Teck-Zilla, then make their you stay on the lookout for their collaborative FreEP, ‘KongZilla,’ coming soon!
