NY emcee Kemba has been doing his thing for a minute now since he released his deeply personal project, Gilda. He now returns with another gem of a track titled “Pisces,” a gripping piece where he tries to find the light even in the
darkest of moments.

“Pisces” rumbles with warped rhythms and thundering drum patterns which defines Kemba’s unique style and willingness to explore beyond the norm. Every line and flow adds up to build a bigger picture for the listener to really understand the complex nature of the man’s craft. He takes his time to detail his humble beginnings and struggles as a young black man living in deplorable environments but instead of losing hope, he found a way to make it out and thus becoming a stronger individual for it.

Kemba adds that “Music was the first thing that gave him real acceptance and identity” and. we can surely say it did and we the listeners are better off as we are treated to an organic, unfiltered piece of art coming from a genuine place.
