Hip-Hop composer K-Def follows up his instrumental One Man Band release with The Exhibit, another record full of masterful production that continues to push his craft far above the majority. “The Fundamentals” features Blu and Quartermaine on one of the records two vocal cuts; the other featuring World Renown comrade Seven Shawn. Back when I reviewed Quartermaine’s Quarter Life Crisis, parallels were drawn between him and Blu, and it seems I wasn’t too far off the mark as this track shows how cohesively they rhyme together over a K-Def canvass.
