Jrue done did it again! Last summer the Sacremento MC came in with his Upon Deaf Ears mixtape and was one of my jams of the season, with certified rhymes backed with a supporting cast of fly beats washing my iTunes with a breath of fresh air. His new drop, Method In The Madness, is more of more as Jrue steps his game up even further. With production handled by names such as UK native Handbook (‘Only’ is probably the standout track) and features along the lines of Supreme Sol (who’s verse on ‘Only‘ is next level, seriously), Jrue’s quickfire lyrics and butter flow complete what is without doubt one of the most banging releases I heard quite recently.
