France based Jazz/Hip-Hop band Whateverest consisting of instrumentalists B-lo, Tao Chu, Cherry Icecream are nothing short of brilliant on their debut project. The project is a 5 track piece made up of Jazz, soul and Hip-Hop beats with vocal guest Jamall Bufford. The EP blends the old, new and in between by creating infectious grooves, head nodding drum patterns laced with cinematic layered instrumentation. This is pretty dope by all standards.

Hit the play button and get with the program.

Taking their roots in the indie hip-hop of the last decade and playing jazz with its original spontaneity, the trio delivers a vaporous and abrasive mixture. Their debut EP contains 5 track including a featuring with Jamall Bufford on the track “The Knife, The Gun”.
